The new petition is ready – click here: Petition
We have made the decision to have a printable petition so it can be used as a tool to engage with people who may not normally have anything to do with horses but can understand when things are blatantly wrong. This means it can be taken to events / gatherings of all sorts and will actively help us spread the word and hopefully inspire others to take up the cause. Each sheet holds 16 signatures so friends and colleagues can be “pounced on” in a way that an e-petition can never do. We will also look at the mechanics of running an e-petition along side. Please download as many copies as you need (Petition) and return to our PO Box as shown on the petition.
Fosse Park horses to be moved
Our campaign has successfully raised awareness that the flood plain where the Fosse Park horses are grazed is inappropriate. Everards Brewery, who own the land, have confirmed they will not be renewing the owner’s contract. This means that after July no more horses will ever have to endure being grazed on this water-logged, hazardous and highly acidic land and that is OUR achievement!
